先进战术战斗机(ATF)是美国空军为研发下一代空中优势战斗机以取代F-15 Eagle而启动的一项计划。该计划旨在应对1980年代全球范围内出现的新兴威胁,包括当时正在研发的苏联Sukhoi Su-27和Mikoyan MiG-29战斗机、Beriev A-50空中预警与控制系统(AWACS),以及日益复杂的地对空导弹系统。该计划最终催生了F-22 Raptor。
