车辆背景与资料

Stryker 是一系列八轮装甲战车,源自加拿大 LAV III,而 LAV III 又源自瑞士 Mowag Piranha。Stryker 车辆由 General Dynamics Land Systems - Canada (GDLS-C) 在安大略省伦敦的工厂为美国陆军生产。它具有四轮驱动(8×4),并可切换为全轮驱动(8×8)。

Stryker 被构想为一个车辆家族,构成新型中型旅级战斗队(BCT)的骨干,旨在平衡装甲旅级战斗队(重型装甲)和步兵旅级战斗队。美国陆军发起了临时装甲车辆竞标,并于 2000 年选择了由 GDLS 和 General Motors Defense 提出的 LAV III。美国陆军将这一系列车辆命名为 "Stryker"。

Stryker 最初构想了十种变体,其中一些已升级采用 V 型车体。
